I just left a message for her on the form provided - "where can I get a copy of the Fife Diet - it sounds wonderful!" ;)

Hmmm,
So I'm taking it she can't cook then and lives on processed stuff a lot of the time!
I believe it's everyones choice as to what they choose to put in their bodies and of course we should all eat local, seasonal food because it's been proven that food eaten when it's in season has more anti-oxidents and it supports the local economy, that said I do like my olive oil and I've not seen many olive trees in my area !
I'm sure the debate will continue !

It reads to me like the reporter has not done her homework...it's not about food exclusive to Fife (or any other local area for that matter), about olive oil etc. "not being allowed" - the experiment is about the effort, about getting to know what is available close by and about supporting your local food providers. Common sense to use you local orchard group for fruit instead of getting them from New Zealand via the supermarket....

When have the press ever let the truth get in the way of a good story? Actually, that's not fair 'cos we've had some really good press coverage. But they do sometimes get the wrong end of the stick and don't do their homework properly.
