Hi i am a female farmer, carer, pony breeder, and am looking into getting some pigs. I have a small flock of texel x ewes and have nearly finished lambing, i also breed welsh mountain ponies which i show. I have been following this site for a while and thought that i might need to pick your brains when and if i get the pigs as i have no experience at all. :horse: :sheep:

Hi from Brittany. Read as much of the pig threads here, one or two authors of very good pig books on here worth getting as well. Also the Gloucestershire Old Spot pig breeders club forum has a lot of information for first time pig keepers. Visit other pig keepers to see their set ups. Then decide on the breed you want.
WARNING: pigs are very addictive
