Are there many Mangalitza pig owners on here?
I have 3! all registered was just wonder how may more are on this forum.

Don't have any but they do look cute, sort of like a piggy-poodle. :)

We are thinking of getting Mangolitza crossed with Berkshire this time from a breeder close to us. Do you think that will be a good cross?

Be an interesting looking one  ;D Both are inclined to run to fat (but then so are most traditional breeds  ;)) so keep a careful eye on the feeding. You'll probably find less than the maximum 6lbs of food per day will be enough as Berkshires are a smaller pig, but play it by eye (and fingers) If you can feel ribs they're too skinny, if you can't feel the backbone they're too fat  ;) Plenty of space to roam will help too.
