One of new babies has started to scour a little since moving from the first batch of powder milk (not Lamlac) to Lamlac?
now, what should I do? its not bad, but dont want to ignore it

You can get pro-biotics for lambs from the feedstore, which might help.
Sounds silly but check amounts when making milk up, I once doubled the strength by mistake when swapping brands!

Hi Mays
Have you checked the quantities for goats? If I remember correctly you make up lamlac weaker for goats than lambs. Can't remember the exact amounts as we have enough goat milk to feed kids this year (15 pints a day from the 2 nannies!)
Good luck

Feed warm water for the next 12 hours and all should be well. Do not feed any milk or substitute in this time .....they won't starve !!!
Check the making up of the powder very carefully... it is possible to kill a kid with the wrong constitutioon.

thank you for the advice, I will report back

Yep there is nothing wrong with giving them half made up Lamblac, and half water if the scour isn't very bad, or even just plain water if the scour is bad. What does surprise me is when people say their kid is scouring, so they don't give them any milk- but don't give them water either! They still need the fluid intake to help keep them hydrated.
