Title: Hello from Sussex
Post by: BadgerFace on January 15, 2009, 02:04:33 pm
Hi  ;D

Along with my OH, I keep a small flock of Pedigree Welsh Badger face sheep - currently 16 ewes, 2 rams and 13 ewe lambs (the boys hit the freezer in the autumn, and very tasty they are !!). We also have 3 horses, 3 dogs, 6 cats, an assortment of chickens for both meat and eggs, and last but not least a pair of geese. We are trying to grow most of our own veg, and are hoping to expand the veg plot this spring.  :sheep:

Hello from me too !

I'm in central Scotland too, although a bit lower down than Annie but still suffering the wind and rain !
Your wee lamb is soooo cute - sorry to say that I've not had any intrest in keeping sheep up til now(think it's the thought of maggots attacking them !) but having seen the photo may have to give in to the demands of my 2 kids and get them a wee orphan this spring !

Keep us up to date with the veggie expansion !

We are in East Sussex, near Heathfield - not too far from the Heathfield Showground :sheep:
