Title: Howdo from Somerset
Post by: Ross on January 15, 2009, 02:04:41 am
Hi,

We have a small, developing holding in in the B&NES part of North Somerset. About 6 acres at the moment, but hoping to expand. We started out a year ago with FR layers, and a scrappy orchard and got some Saddlebacks and a few lambs along the way. Looking to move into additional areas as the opportunities present themselves.

Our farm is a full time occupation, but doesn't quite provide a full time income yet. We realised we had either to commit totally and get more investment, or reduce our commitment to an amateur level. It's not about the money though, is it?

Cheers, Ross
