Wish we would stop it too. Although I do enjoy the extra hour in bed in the autumn  ;D

Its only an hour, but twice a year I totally lose all concept of time!
It's now 21:21 according to the clock, but I'm really hungry & thinking about going to bed ... yet this time yesterday it was nearly half 8 and I was perfectly normal (for me!!)

There was a bit of debate recently about the UK adopting 2 hours ahead of GMT for the whole year.

Unfortunately this would mean that the north of Scotland wouldn't see daylight till around 10am for some of the year.

You remember, Spring forward, Fall back. Simples :)

At any particular time of the year nature gives a certain amount of daylight.
We can call it 'half past banana' if we want we still only get that amount of daylight.
How it makes any difference to a farmer I'll never understand !!!!!

Every time we change the clocks, I have the same old conversation with my OH,  it goes something like, "Its 7 the dogs need feeding" me, well to them its only 6, OH," No we have changed the clockes its 7" Me, dogs don't look at the clock. THe same thing happens the other way around, I know the dogs feed etc gets adjusted but I find it funny every year!!!!
