wifes gone out to the theatre, kids are in bed so i'm baking cakes, why is cake mix so yummy?
approximately half makes it to the oven in any given batch i believe, although in its raw form plain sponge is deffinitely yummier than chocolate...
but cooked chocolate might just win it!!!

well if we end up moving to scotland this year i'll invite you all round for cake!!!

I love raw cake mix too. I make my spatula not work as hard and "accidentally" leave a bit too much mix in the bowl. Oh, and I always use my fingers to get the mix off the hand mixer. All this when no-one is looking obviously. ;)

I remember the time (violin please) when we were first going out together, I would get home to find 2 sponge cakes, one ready to be cut and the other in the freezer, now 1 I dare not eat cake and 2 he has lost the ability ::) so he says. My eldest as a little girl, licked the whisk from my Kenwood chef and caught her tongue in it!!!

We do joint cooking in our house, i cook during the week, the OH cooks at a week end, i have had a mad cake and bun making session, the last week or so due to so many eggs,
Eating the cake mix is the best bit, and always the makers privilege ;) ;) ;)
