Title: Wanted - Buff Orpington hen that can be delivered to Melton Mowbray

I don't have transport so can't wander the country picking up hens, as much as I would love to! If anyone has a buff orpington hen they'd like to sell and could deliver, I would be grateful and would gladly contribute to delivery costs.

Fingers crossed! I know this is a big ask....

Oh yes. Melton Market is fab, but you're at the mercy of what's there on the day and you never know where the birds have come from, or what medical condition they're in. I was hoping to find a nice bird to accompany my Orpington cockerel and maybe breed from, so it would be good to know the birds history.

if i am buying at melton i usually get there nice and early you can soon see the ones to avoid.
