Title: Henhouse for sale
Post by: Rosemary on December 27, 2008, 03:45:50 pm
I have a commercially built hen house that is surplus to requirements. Overall, the house measures 4ft x 4ft 7" and is 4ft high; the main house is 2ft 9" x 4ft 7", with two lengths of perch along the length of the house. There are two next boxes, so the house would be fine for up to 10 hens.

It is all wood construction with a front pophole and side door for easy cleaning. The sides come off for a deeper clean, but it's not been used much so I've never tried that. It's very robust and rather nice looking. We've never had red mite, so the house is clean.

£200 ovno

Hi Rosmary
Would it be possible to unscrew/dismantle the main sections of the hut if I were to make an offer (it'd need to go into my mazda 6) for a drive up to B'gowrie?
Thanks

I don't think that would be a problem - it came flat packed, so it should come apart again.

It's not very big - it would fit in a box trailer, I think. But yes, it should dismantle.
