Title: First batch lambed

Thats the first batch of lambs delivered. Lots of singles this time and strangely big singles and small twins. out of 20 ewes only 6 twins. very poor for us

congrats on your lambs and sorry it wasn't such a good lambing it all sounds so very early :o :o I am still thinking of them as little tiny foetus's  watched one ewe lamb get mounted on friday so still another five months to go.   can you come to any conclusions as to why not such a good lambing?

Our next lot starts in two weeks-ish.

I think it may be down to too much grass and they were a little too fit for tupping time.  I was worried when we had so much grass around. normally the grass had burned off by mid july being on a hill top.
