My local Pub has the Ham on as a starter dish, and the chef says, you can eat it just like Parma Ham, thin sliced and with out cooking - goes down a treat. :P :P
THE YORKSHIRE HAMS ARE CURED IN SALT AND BROWN SUGAR FOR 21 DAYS, THEN THE HAMS ARE NATURALLY AIR DRIED FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS
YOU CAN BUY THE HAMS EITHER WHOLE BONE IN. OR IF YOU PREFER I WILL BONE THE HAM OUT AND JOINT IT.
ALL THE HAMS WILL BE DELIVERED BY COURIER.

We bought a half ham. It was delivered when Paul said it would be. It weighed 7lb. We cooked it Saturday then took the skin off yesterday, scored the fat, covered it with mustard and brown sugar and stuck it in a hot oven for about half an hour.
It was delicious. It fed 7 yesterday, we're having it cold with baby roasties tonight (5 of us) and a ham and leek crumble tomorrow (for 5). I'm not sure that will finish it but any left will go in soup. I think 17 meals is pretty good value.
I'd recommend them - but you'll need a big family or a party for a whole ham. It would make a marvellous centerpiece for a family celebration though.
