Hi, not surprisingly my chicken area is a bit of a swamp after all the winter's rain. We have a great coop (only four large chickens) and electric poultry netting in an area that was the old orchard. Although the coop is on wheels etc (it's a half penthouse from the poultry trust or whatever they're called) we can't move it to the area we want to (steps, Cornish hedges to encounter etc), in order to 'rest' the current swamp area and allow the grass to regrow. So, I want to move the electric netting and get a new, second coop so in future they can move periodically between the two areas/coops allowing grass regrowth etc. But I need to economise on the coop but don't want to buy rubbish on the internet. Any recommendations for cheap coops that people have been satisfied with, would be very welcome (no, we haven't got time etc to build one, I'm afraid). Thanks

would recommend, from experience, a cheap shed rather than a coop.
better value for money, you can stand up it & its easier to clean (though if you are as tall as me, you can still regularly get a good crack on the head! saw stars twice last night, once going in and then again on the way out! )
obviously, this wouldnt be moveable, but could eg be a winter house with room for storage.
if youre prepared to wait, you could get a second hand one from eg gumtree, preloved, e-bay or your local paper...

Put it on skids - we move our 40 bird house with the 4x4 using skids.
