I would like you to meet Nancy and Nathan the troublesome duo that kept me up feeding them baby milk on there first night life
-
oh i want some they are lovely :sheep: :sheep:

strangely I like ryeland adults better than lambs, but they are cute and so funny. We are now trying to get them onto a nursing bucket to make our contact less with them but they have a routine where one actually bites at the side of the teat whilst the other catch the milk that comes out and then they swap. Who said she are dumb?

hours of fun for you, least they will keep ya mind off your git of a neighbour,
-
yeah until they go outside and I worry about them being let out. I am going to build a door for the other side of my field shelter so that I can lock them in whilst I'm out and in the evening as we have a huge fox problem. It will be a few weeks before they can go out 24/7 as they are so small and don't have mum to protect them.

they are very precious having fought so hard, lovely to see them!

Exciting news they have fed from the nursing bucket and only had one bottle given by us, so if everything continues well they are off into the stable this weekend so I can introduce some creep and water to them. They are little fighters and putting on weight well.

So good to hear - you've done great :farmer:

Lovely little ones and what can be more cuter than a baby lamb . . .

My southdown lambs always look a bit likely Dennis Healey when they are little with great big eyebrows and funny wrinkly skin - no offence meant to Dennis!
