Yesterday was the lambing course here and no one lambed, not a sausage! Lots of pretending but no one did anything!
Well today was a different story! So far 5 pairs of twins, 1 triplet and 1 single and having just come in for some dinner, various others are making as though we will have a very busy night!
Oh well - better out than in!
Plus anyone in somerset/Devon looking for bottle lambs? One of the ewes has no milk! And the single is a southdown and no good for adopting either the twins or the triplet!

good luck wish i was nearer would help out with bottle feeding  let us know how you get on

thats a good score so far .... again, I'd bottle feed your cades but they're abit far away!

We'd take on some for bottle feeding but you may be just out of reach... we're dorset/somerset boarders, where are you exactly?
-
Sounds like you are and are going to be very busy, god luck with the bottle lambs!!

oh dear my ewe has just got her milk in a bit to late for her lambs now, so I have 2 I am bottle feeding.
-
how are the lambs doing? have they got names yet??

My 2 where named by 'plumseverywhere's' little girl. They are Nathan and Nancy and are doing really good but are still only the size of my slipper

Are you doing any more lambing courses Freddie? I enjoyed mine so much last year and found it so useful, I'm trying to encourage others in my group to attend.
-
Ruth has got a mini course this weekend. And she also has some others in March or April. They are advertised on www.smallholdingcourses.co.uk (http://www.smallholdingcourses.co.uk)
I think it will be a busy weekend. We have had 7 sets of twins today already and a single! Plus I now have a lovely gift from the OH of his cold - he's always good with his presents!
