-
THats ;D ;D funny but NOT if your next door to him ::)
-
Now I remember why I don't have a cockerel :)
-
:o :o :o
he must have grown up near a railway yard!! Am I glad our boy is singing lovely tunes compared ;D :chook: :&>
-
He looks so pleased with himself as well :)
-
and I thought ours were noisy!
he'd be in the oven if he lived here.... :)
-
we have a polish bantam that started crowing at three weeks and has never shut up since.
-
We have 2 who sit next to each other and compete, and they are still a lot quieter than him.
-
i had one a while ago now, that crowed non-stop for (i'm not joking) about 10mins, then fainted. Then did the same thing next day, some times they never learn ::)
-
That WAS impressive, I was holding my breath waiting for him to stop! :o
-
Hmm, definitely NOT going to get a cockerel - my neighbours are nice people and I like to sleep too ;D
-
my neighbour was the first to know that our pet chooks were boys! Thank goodness she doesn't mind ;D. The boy we kept does have a lovely voice compared to this one here! ::) :chook: :&>

A friend of mine keeps some of those. They are Hungarian, I think.
There are crowing competitions held for the these long-crowers.
-
Blimey! What's he trying to do? Yodel?

I went to the domestic fowl trust today to give the children a day out and there was a poster about these cockerels and the competitions! how weird, only came across this a couple of days ago and now 2 people have told me about them. I'm just glad there's none of these living near me!
