I so hope that there is a 'young one' in the sidelines willing to continue his work? How on earth did you come across this Rosemary? God bless all the eagle-eyed people who take the time to remind us of these things.
Boy, if I could have a 'super power', (apart from being able to fly), I'd wish for the ability to inspire future generations so that knowledge and skills survive.
Perhaps I should start a 'lost skills' college? :hshoe:

How on earth did you come across this Rosemary?
Was looking on the BBC Scotland news site for info about job cuts in local government and saw the link ;D
I thought he was brilliant - and good value for 79 ;D

Fantastic, love it.

cornish farmer funny you should mention the obvious they used to do bull hire to the island farmers(this is pedigree bulls from Perth)and swim them to the islands and the inevitable did happen
-
re swimming the bulls - the cold should have improved sperm production!
The film did say it was a very short swim of a few minutes.

Cornish farmer.
My OH frequently tells me i do indeed talk a load of b******s. Nothing new there.
I appologise to you all in advance for any future rambling nonsense/c**p!!!

The monks on Caldy Island swam all the cattle across - a few centuries before the animal rights movement though :D
