We will be growing our own hayledge this year and require a contractor to harvest it for us, does anybody know of any good contractors in the ME9 area (between Sittingbourne and Maidstone Kent), any idea what we should pay for a 25kg & 50kg bail. We have approx 7 acres to harvest can anybody tell me how many bails we will get per acre ? yes this is the first time we have harvested !!
