Title: wanted animal feed
Post by: ellisr on February 03, 2011, 10:44:54 am
I remember reading on a website somewhere about mixed pallets of animal feed but for the life of me I can't find the website again. Can anyone help?

I found info on the BOCM Paul's website relating to Farmgate & mixed products (or maybe I emailed them about it ???) I think it's a ton/full pallet you get though.

I thought most feed places would deliver a mixed pallet. We use Davidson's feed at Shotts, and we can get a ton delivered made up of any of their feeds. Minimum order is a ton. They don't do horse feeds though if you were looking for that.

East Scotland farmers maybe a bit far out for me. Yes I do need horse feed as well as pig, sheep, poultry and dog. But I will keep trying

Surely your local agri feed place will deliver whatever you want?

I was looking to try and save money by buying in bulk my cheapest agri stores charges a lot for delivery so that idea fell flat as it would then be the same price as my local pet store

I recently inquired at BOCM Pauls for the price of tonne (50 x 20kg) of layers pellets, they quoted £314.00.
