One of my hens seems to be staggering to the right every so often :-\ :chook: She can run in a straight line but when she's standing still she has this sort of sideways stagger. Its very odd. Otherwise she's in fine fettle, eating and drinking well, no other signs. What's all that about then ??? ??? Anyone any ideas please?
Thanks all.

"eating and drinking well"
That could be the problem, cut back on her booze. :D

One of my girls was behaving like this a month ago. I can reassure you that she is ok now. I haven't tried to work out how to post a link but if you scroll back a few poultry pages you will find my post entitled 'Chook walking sideways' or similar.
My girl was bereft of feathers at the time & it was cold. I think she was just low in energy. It is possible she had eaten a poisoned mouse or poisonous plant. (Both possible in the snowy conditions.)
She is bottom of the pecking order. Maybe I should offer more food & pay her more attention.

Thanks Izzy  - I'll search back a fit further through the posts and find it.
This chook has a full coat, isn't being bullied or anything, but is the last one out of the hen house in the mornings....she's just a bit slower, but once she gets going, she after the food same as the others ??? :chook:
