I'm looking for a confident gander to keep an eye on my poultry. anyone got one they are looking to rehome?
-
LOL, we've got a right grumpy one, but since he's nearly blind, he wouldn't be much use for keeping an eye on anything! Actually, he spends most of his time trying to keep up with his hareem of two old biddies, along with generally bumping into things (bless!) ;D
-
Whereabouts are you? I have a bonded pair of geese that I am going to sell and the gander scares my Wolfhound ;D
-
i too am on the hunt for a couple of geese, so if it turns out i am closer, can i be in the running too? or does anyone near to me have any?
-
Best if you get a trio for company and super grumpiness when the breeding season comes ;D
-
I have some geese for sale if of any of you are near Suffolk.
-
Me too
any for sale round Yorkshire

Hi,
I am in midlands near Stoke and have 4 geese that are surplus to requirements if anyone is nearby and interested.

-
Hi,

that's terrific! thank you!
ooh, so excited, was looking for some all last year, have a hut and pen all ready for them, but they will free range once established.
i'll pm you later with phone number etc, we can make arrangements.

well, what can i say, but a huge thank you Rob, the gang are safely home and enjoying hissing at the dog :)
the catching turned out to be easy work, Rob had half of them already confined, and the other 2 didn't put up half the fight i expected!
very happy here now! ;D ;D ;D
