How big are wyandotte bantams in comparison to a LF Sussex?
How well do they fly?
I might be interested in a couple of laced/pencilled birds - females only though - got one cockerel - had to dispatch all the spare youngsters at the weekend so don't want to be doing that again in a hurry.

BlueDiasy, Wyandotte bantams are about half the size of LF Sussex.

I dont suppose you have a pic of the RIR bantams do you?  Just my bantys are 'black' (my name for them)  but when I saw a piccy of a RIR I thought, ooooh, wonder if they are a bit of that?  Also a pic of the wyandotte bantys please, am trying to get rid of my legbars and a couple of trios of bantys (yes I currently have 3 cockerels) then maybe get some purer breeds. Am in Aberdeenshire.

Hi Bigchicken. do you happen to have a chocolate partridge Wyandotte bantam? I have a cockerel who's in with my 2 LS but I want o put them to my LS cock & give him 1 (or 2) ladies of his own.
Also can you ( or anyone ) tell me if the chicks would be sex linked? Also if I leave my choc partridge Wyandotte with the LS would those chicks be sex linked? I read that a gold (i.e. RIR) cock x LS would give sex linked chicks.
