Title: Shearlings zoomies!
Post by: Penninehillbilly on May 09, 2025, 08:53:25 pm
I thought there was a dog in with the dry flock today, a couple of fields over, 7x 2024 lambs, a 2023 who lost  her lamb, an older ewe (black, which is why I thought dog) with black &white lamb. They were just setting off up and down the field, never seen them do that before, I thought it was just a lamb thing. :D

Nah, I've seen older sheep do it too, usually hoggs or gimmers, but once they start the old ewe would join in rather than being left alone. Spring joy!

One of my 7 year old sheep has been leaping around this year, trying to get the lambs to join her!  ;D
