Title: Valais Blacknose sheep

I’ve just had 3 VB delivered today…. Any advice on care of these guys. I know they need a twice yearly shear…

About the same care as any other sheep need. Just hurts your pocket a lot more if they die  :roflanim:  suggest a sheep keeping course at the very minimum if you’ve no experience.

Folk round my neck of the woods (west yorks pennines) are moaning about their lack of hardiness in the feet department and sheer stupidity - getting stuck in fences for example !

Pretty but dim and woossey !!

That's probably just because they can't see where they're going  ;D .

I know prices used to be sky high when VBN were new to the UK, but hasn't that calmed down a bit now? (That was also the case for Zwartbles 15 years ago, but they're priced the same as any other sheep now.)
