Title: Sheep movement

Hi I have just bought a farm in Scotland is there a stand still time for stock when moved on holding I now in England it's 6 days just been speaking to my new vet and says no stand still confused I have read it's 13 days

Scottish Gov webpage (https://www.gov.scot/publications/animal-health-movement-restrictions/pages/general-health-controls/) says 13 days for all livestock except pigs, for which it's 20.  Like England, they can still go direct to slaughter.

But can they go to local mart fat sale Hoggs

Not a regular fat sale but they could go to a "red slaughter market", where everything must go direct to slaughter from the sale.

13 days unless you have an isolation area.  We have, it's conveniently a field on the other side of the road. They are very understanding here so you can always phone SAMU to ask if you have an odd situation or are puzzled.
