Title: Forest School Level 3
Post by: SavageU on November 10, 2023, 06:56:40 pm
Hi

Has anyone experience of this?

Currently exploring my options with parts of land that aren't upto much but may lend themselves to other things.

Ideally I need to find somewhere in Yorkshire where I can gain accreditation.

I'd never heard of this so naturally I had to google - https://forestschoolassociation.org/

Is this the right website?

It appears to be related to teaching children in woodland and forest settings

What do children do at Forest School?
A Forest School is a long-term outdoor education process that is holistic and learner-led. It allows children to develop themselves through healthy engagement with risk, problem-solving and self-discovery, all within a natural environment in a hands-on and thoughtful manner

It is quite expensive to do so you really need to know that is the way you want to go ..... and that there is enough demand in your area for this
