Title: Goats milk, our Express article!
Post by: plumseverywhere on December 31, 2010, 06:48:49 pm
I did an article with the Daily express about the benefits of goats milk and how having our own goats had helped my children's eczema. If anyone is interested, here is the link

Since when has goats' milk been nutritionally inferior to cows' milk? Very odd.
Well done for the publicity though! :)

yes, I thought that.
It is actuallly less fattening due to the way the lipids (fat) are suspended... according to my goat book!

I can't see how it is inferior at all. IN fact the St Helen's MD gave me such a brilliant explanation about how the proteins in goats milk are easier to digest than in cows that it must be superior! you just never know who's being paid what in order to support certain companies - nod nod wink wink and all that but perhaps there was some of that in there.
all I know is, my girls have HONESTLY never been better and my mum who has MS and early onset dementia was thriving while we had Avocet and she drank nearly a pint of that milk a day. Won't touch the shop stuff because it doesnt' taste right (following on from the other thread about milking goats and working all day and how we've all commented on how shop bought stuff doesnt' taste as nice.)

I'm now looking for a new nanny sometime in the next year  :)
