Have just been clipping my sheep’s bottoms as wool has a lot of poo in it and to stop fly strike.
Is this wool any good to mix into my compost heap.
How long should it take to rot down.
Thanks

Best put at the bottom as it takes a couple of years to rot down. However, if you use machinery in your veg patch such as a rotavator, or grass mower, be aware that fleece anywhere near your use of the machines WILL get tangled and clog up the machine and it's very difficult to get out! This also covers using fleece against slugs.
An alternative use for dags is to soak them in a 40 gallon barrel to make a delicious plant feed full of nitrogen for green growth. You can of course later put what's left of the fleece under your compost heap.

Fleecewife. Thanks for advice, will try the 40 gallon drum with my daggs.

You can use it as a mulch, it's very good for that.
