One of my sheep definitely has nasal bots as she has sneezed a couple out when I've been with her. I know Ivermectin kills nasal bots. I'm probably going to drench them with Oromec, as one of my girls had a bad reaction last year to the injection of Panamec. My question is if you drench them to kill the bots, what happens to the dead ones in her nose? The ones I've found have been about 1.5cm and I wouldn't want those dead and stuck in her nose! Thank you.

Looked at many websites and non of them mention what happens after dosing ,so i presume the dead bots either fall out or are sneezed out

I would expect as the bots die, they stop burrowing into the nasal cavity and are blown out of the nose :tired:

Thank you, Twizzel and Shep for your replies. I think that must be what happens, I can't think of anything else?
