Hi - hope you noticed a comedy on Tuesday night 9.00 p.m. BBC 1 The Accidental Farmer (which one of you wrote it???). It's an hour long and in one of the reviews they said that the star of the show is the pig. :pig:..... no doubt Lillian and a few others would agree. Anyway might be just the thing to perk us up in this bleak midwinter. Link to precis http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wyg0s

You've changed the channel, Well Done! Now change the date ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Hmm - just another sitcom?
-
Quite funny, but I do have problems with lack of continuity - all day white shirts ;D and after falling in the mud the overalls were CLEAN ;D ;D
Definitely funnier than Giles and Sue ::)
I think a while ago someone came on here asking what our lives were like, researching for a TV show, it might have been for this one.... :&>
-
It had me laughing ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I do hope it's not just a one off ? I'd like to see more !
-
Ending was a bit cut short so I assume there is more in the pipeline depending on viewing figures? ::)
It was vaguely funny at times but mostly predictable cliches like falling in mud, falling on muck etc - but not much reality in it and already very predictable roles - the grumpy old wifey with the heart of gold, the love interest vet, the villainous doctor and his girlfriend who misruns the OAP home, the horsey lady muck with a roving husband, the friendly barmaid and the bar prop up trio who are meant to be "typical yorkshiremen" ::)
I'd watch it but I'm not bowled over ::)
-
My thoughts exactly, Ellied
-
i thot it was really funny, tho i was drinking wine!!
-
Yeah, so did I ;D
But I was also on the vino ;) ;D
-
I think it's a pilot so, depending on market research, it may become a series. I quite liked it even though it was bursting with stereotypes!
-
i thought it funny in parts falling in the glabber that was me working with cattle well that happens at some point the non oppening gates the baller twine the locals and the caracters we will just have to wait and see
-
I believe I read it is a series hence non-end. Xmas will throw the schedule out if it is. Hope you are all warmer than I am!!!!!! I envy the "winos" ---- tea-total doesn't do much warming. >:(
-
at least youy can drive o/h could not drive a bargain
-
i loved it
:pig:
hubby kept asking why the piggie was allowed to wander about and even down the pub!!!
Mx
-
I loved it, somebody lend me their credit card pleeeaaaaassseeee.........
-
I enjoyed it but was puzzled by the ending. However, as others have said, would appear that depending on viewing figures, a series could be forthcoming - I'd defo watch it ;D
-
OK, who's going to own up -MUST have been one of us here! Rosemary? Dan?
It wasn't me, I'm waiting on an offer for the movie! :D
