I've found this on line plant database. It seems very comprehensive and includes wildflowers. The advanced search is quite useful because you can search by height, colour, flowering season, soil type, shade/full sun etc rather than just names, which is handy for planning your planting. I'm getting the standalone version as well so I can start cataloguing all my garden plants and in preparation for when we start our native plant nursery.

This sounds like a great idea, someting you can use or find plants on to plant in your own gardens.

This database seems great, thanks for posting the link, I've always been fascinated by greenery and plants since I was a little kid, so looking through this is brilliant.
