Title: Cade lamb stopped eating
Post by: Shellshocked on October 09, 2022, 07:01:17 am
Hello all, im looking for some advice I have a cade lamb I bought in back in April, he has always been a bit strange but has always eaten well loved his bottle and then went on to creep and finally out to grass, no problems.  Recently I noticed he's very thin and not really eating so we wormed him he hasn't really picked up.  He does dribble a bit when cudding always has, I have done all I can think of for him any ideas what it could be.
I should add we have 200 sheep over all on a beef and sheep farm so he's not a pet.
Thank you

How long since did you worm him?
With goats to find it can be a week before they start picking up.
See if you can get some vitamins into him, I use something that has iron for anaemia,  but not sure it's safe for sheep.
With goats we check colour of eyelids/gums, should be pink.
