Hello, I'm new to forum as a brand new owner of a few acres, am looking forward to getting some useful experiences and advice from people 😊

Oh, [member=220990]Bumpkin[/member] , a belated welcome to the forum. (Sometimes new folk simply get missed - never intentionally ignored !) Where in the South West are you ?

Hi [member=220990]Bumpkin[/member] and welcome! Aye, you slipped through the net - but welcome now from :sunshine: Carnoustie.

Hello and welcome from the south of Scotland. I can still remember the unbelievable excitement when we moved to our few acres over 1/4 of a century ago. Don't try to take on too much from the beginning, take a whole year to learn about your land and its weather, with just a few animals at first then increase numbers as your knowledge increases. Also start any growing enterprise with a smallish area and build up. We did it all wrong, starting when our neighbour got carried away and ploughed a whole acre for our veggie bed :tired: . It just filled with creeping thistle, couch and nettles :roflanim: and we've never got rid of them. So learn by our mistakes - we've all made them - rather than having to make your own :sunshine:

So [member=220990]Bumpkin[/member]; I'm hoping you will soon forgive us for our tardy welcome to the forum. You're taking a holiday/busy perhaps, but looking forward to hearing from you on your return/as soon as you get a moment.
