Post by: Acornkaz on August 19, 2022, 06:24:05 am
Hello everyone I have been a member for a while and enjoyed reading about other peoples antics 😁 so I live here with our ancient cat she is 18, our flocks of Ryelands and couloured Ryelands and beef cattle and our cocker spaniels, we also have a holiday let, we have actually downsized from a bigger farm as the workers have got less over the years, I grew up On a farm and love the life, I have been doing some vegetarian wool rugs wondering if anyone else has had a go

Welcome [member=211879]Acornkaz[/member]

Yes, I have had a go at a veggie rug, when my Icelandic x "Pugling" had a semi-felted fleece one year.  The rug has a few thin spots, at some point I will attempt to needlefelt some of her fleece (from another year) onto the underside of the thin spots - unless you (or anyone else) has an alternative suggestion?

Hi sally I would try needle felting the thin bits that’s a good idea, i have also done this on my thin bits, watch out with those barbed needles though.
