Title: cheap muck spreader??

any ideas please for a cheap muck spreader?  we have lots of nicely mature horse manure.  But how to spread it on fields (paddocks) with least effort (dodgy back!) and least money (very little of that!) ??  probably a daft question but you never know!?

Put spade sized dollops randomly spread and then go over them with a side eject mower twice, cutting at right angles? Accepting that cleaning the deck afterwards won't be a nice job.
