why dont you try rare breed eggs, they need all help you can get, and also have resale value if you dont want them. i find them more interesting than just hybrids. are you near rotherham cos know someone there that could give you some eggs. though i expect u wud have to wait til spring. or if you cant wait, try a sasso or hybrid breeder as i think they hatch all year round.

My Cuckoo Marans are laying at present, and I have just put a hatch through the incubator to check fertility which seems good. The eggs are £1 each plus P&P. I have a small backlog of orders at present but all being well should have some in the next week or two. Hope this is allowed :-\ Dark Brown Eggs website[url]
All the best

Hi,
I am in the york are and will have some but not till the new year. I keep rare breeds and may have a cockerel or two available if you can wait a little while.
If you dont mind what breed or what quality you get there are always ftgh cocks on the site though not neccesarily in your area.

You can get hatching eggs through the post - I've had fair success with the batches I have sent for.
Surf the poultry pages on teh net.
If you get stuck I could put you on to a few who will send - usually worked out at about £10 half dozen incl P&P from the not too greedy breeders.
If you wnat either Scots Greys or Norfolk Greys, let me know in teh Spring.
