Hi all,
At the end of My first year of keeping sheep. I did a routine check on my small flock of Welsh Black Mountain sheep today. One of my ewes has horn buds and seems to have damaged one and had a minor bleed. My concern is that it was well covered in flies. There was no sign of any maggots.
I have cleaned it and applied a generous dose of iodine spray.
I will keep an eye on her but is there anything else I should do at this stage.
Any input appreciated.

A bit of summer fly cream will help deter, or Spotinor.
