Hi
Most of my lambs are a couple weeks old now and I’ve noticed a few of them Are limping, on closer inspection quite a few of what I would say is smelly puss type gunk in between their toes, I can’t see any maggots and it’s still a bit cold here as I’ve not seen any blowfly’s around
I’m Going to call the vet tomorrow but just wondered if anyone has had the problem before
I’ve sprayed with tetramicin for the time been
I’ve attached a picture but it’s not the best

That's scald, gone a bit further than usual. Blue spray should sort it. Spray, hold the foot until the spray dries, repeat. Stand lamb on cement or hard dry ground for 10 mins if you can.

Thanks sally
Just reading up on scald and maybe it’s this that’s gone a bit far
I have a few big patches where the wastage is in the haylage bales sit
The lambs like to jump around on it could be that they’ve damaged the softness under foot
The grass isn’t too long, which has effected the older sheep in the past when going on to new grass
I will see how the lambs I have sprayed recover in the next day or so
