hi,
we got our Black Rock X's last Wednesday, their 12weeks old.
Learning as we go but all seems exeptionally well. They are now
free to roam back garden after 1day in coop and 4days in pen.
What do I do about worming and general health? Not really up to speed
in this area as yet.
Cheers, Stewart.

Try to rotate the land they are on; lime it in winter. You can use a herbal wormer called Verm-X or a chemical one called Flubenvet.
-
How often do you worm them and where do you get this stuff? You mentioned spice for my ex batts - what is it called and where do I get it too please?
-
Thank-you for your advice I have planned to move the pen around garden 2or 3times a week.
That way the grass is fresh, although they have the full run of garden at present,
and they are making full use of it. Stewart

Verm-X you give for three consecutive days each month. We used to do Flubenvet twice a year, spring and autumn.
-
Where will I get it - and the spice you mentioned?

hi,
I googled Verm-X and got a distributors shop where you can shop online. That's where I'll try for it and
see how it goes.

hi,
farther to question about verm-X wormer, I also went onto ebay and there are shops on there dealing in that kind of wormer as well as anti red mite, lice spray. Hope this is of help.
