Title: fertilising eggs.
Post by: Glaswegian on November 21, 2010, 02:29:13 pm
hi all.
this might be a bit of a dumb question ::)but,of the thousands of eggs that are hatched for the battery farms, how are they fertilised? is there some super rooster doing the job ? or is it done in some other artificial way. theres probably a very simple answer to this  :-[ but i just cant see it.

                                              cheers.

Yes, they use cockerels, the only natural bit of life those poor birds get!
