Title: Delecks 15hp
Post by: My Way 2020 on December 16, 2021, 06:14:25 pm
Hi All
I need a wood chipper I am cutting down a number of trees and saplings which have been allowed to spread where they are not wanted.
The larger wood say over 80mm will be for burning however the the brash and side shoots need to be chipped or mulched ....there is no random burning allowed  in Eire.
I am looking at a Deleks 15hp or possibly a Briggs and Stratton 6.5hp GS 650 not a lot of price difference .....any body have any recommendations .

I don't own a petrol chipper and have only ever used a hired machine with much larger capacity than, say, sub-80mm, but what is the specified capacity (branch diameter and chipping rate) of the two machines you are considering.  (One might expect the 15HP to be the better bet, but there might be other factors !?)
