We have two pigs as a hobby
they're coming up to slaughter weight. We've booked them into the abbatoir and going to get them butchered - are we able to give the surplus away foc ?

I believe that as long as they are butchered in an approved premises and packaged and labelled correctly, you are free to do what you want with the end product.

Why do you not wish to sell the surplus meat??
