Hi there everyone ,
Im David , living in Alloa at the min but own an antique shop in Doune Stirlingshire . Im not a smallholder at present although i hope to be in the future when the boat comes in ,, all being well ..
Now this is a bit of a long shot but possibly someone can help me out . i own and fly a Harris Hawk, she chases and occasionally catches rabbits , rats and crows . Im looking for some land , rough or not so rough to exercise her on , anywhere with 20 miles or so of Doune or Alloa would be great. I know its a bit of a long shot but just thought i would ask ....im mature ( very ) sensible etc ... i can be contacted thru the forum or at the shop 01786842168 or email . most days . Anyway thanks very much for reading this and i wish you all well :)

Now, [member=213321]David mcc[/member] , I was at Launceston Castle with a friend (pre-Covid) and as we descended from the battlements we gave way to a visiting couple carrying a budgie in a cage climbing upwards to also admire the view! - "We always bring him with us on holiday" they said "and he seems to enjoy our tours." (!!!!!)
So, if your Hawk is similarly into holidays/vistas and you are visiting Cornwall with your HH, just let me know via a PM ! I've plenty of rabbits. Cornish rabbit meat is some of the best - honest. Be warned though, your Harris Hawk won't eat anything else after tasting ! LOL
