We benefit from our neighbours' daughters helping out with the horses and sheep. They seem to enjoy it and we try to answer all their questions and instruct them in safe handling etc.
On sunday morning when my wife was letting the chickens our she saw the pyjama clad girls in the paddock and went over for a chat. Seeing they had a barrow out she wondered what they were doing. "We've been poo-picking!" was the answer.
