The weather during the next few days will continue quite mixed, with rain pushing east across the country during Wednesday. It will feel rather chilly in northern regions, but in the south temperatures should be close to average.
Looking ahead to the weekend and beyond, a big change in the weather is in prospect, with much colder conditions likely to become established. This could mark the start of quite a lengthy, and possibly potent spell of wintry weather, affecting the whole of the Britain. Although it's too early to be confident about the details we're expecting an increasing risk of snow through next week, especially in northern and eastern regions. However, even London, and other parts of the south east may see some snow before the end of November.
TWO Buzz will be updated regularly during the days ahead bringing the latest views from TWO founder Brian Gaze.
Also use the Weather Eye system which updates every 6 hours, and is especially useful, giving a heads up when heavy rain, frost, snow and strong winds are looking likely in the next 5 days.
The 14 day discussion weather forecast will be updated on Thursday.
