Title: Commercial goat herds
Post by: Cornish man on July 04, 2021, 05:41:14 pm
Due to the pandemic and the rise of veganism 4 of our large local herds are packing up.
The losses are too great the herds averaged 800/1000 goats and the last herd are on the verge packing up too!
Once gone these herds will not be replaced and it will be wanted back to imports.

The two 4,000 head herds round here are talking about next years maize cropping with their suppliers.  So if they are thinking of down sizeing or packing up, they are not letting on.
