I woke up to about 2 inches of snow this morning  8)

Anyone else got the white stuff ?

just sunshine and a little mist her in derbyshire.... ;D

(although there was a little frost at 7am when i let the chickens out

Just read your FB status Karen and half of me was jealous, the other glad we don't have any!! do you think it will last? the kids love it, I do for about half an hour then I go off it rapidly lol!!
we are just under a blanket of fog in Worcestershire. just cleaned the chooks out, very cold!

Hi Happy Hippy.  Yes we have snow too - must be a Lanarkshire special treat  ;D  Looks like there's more to come from those heavy skies.  :wave:

Wow- drizzling here and we are only a few miles from Lanarkshire!

There was snow in Chagford, Devon a couple of days ago. Do you think we're going to have a winter like the last one? :(

Sylvia, one of my daughters came home from school saying that her friend Adam has told her we are going to have a winter 10 times worse than last years  :(  now normally I don't take the word of 7 year olds but this lad is very bright and his parents would be the types to have checked the forecast - eek!!!  however if I bury my head in the sand and don't check the forecast its not going to happen, thats' my coping mechanism with most things lol (esp the bank balance!!)

Well, it's still here - but no more has fallen. Frosty tonight, so fingers crossed there won't be any more in the morning  :-\

There's still about 3" of our snow left here, now frozen solid and very slippy.  The school bus got stuck on the hill this morning as no salt down in time - economies I suppose.  All around us the snow has gone, just our hilltop pristine white.

Yup, same here ! Still white outside and VERY slippy (at least the mud's a bit less sticky ;))
