Title: Chicks eyes crusted over

My chicks eyes are crusted over and when I wipe it off with a wet cloth he tries to scratch at his eyes with his foot and once the crusty part comes off it will start oosing I’ve been using eye drops as I have seems vets have recommended anyone know another treatment for this

Ive used old tea bags , helps to reduce inflammation and irritation and contains soothing properties. Not used on chicks tho.

Used it on hamsters and guinea pigs in the past  :roflanim:
Also on us where we were kids

You just can't leave it like that! Either you get vet treatment with antibiotics or despatch it immediately. Poor thing left suffering is just not acceptable. So 24 hours on and what have you done?
