Title: Ryeland shearling tup
Post by: graemeatwellbank on June 04, 2021, 10:44:56 pm
I have a Ryeland shearling tup which is too closely related to the few people I know for them to take him on so I'm asking further afield if anyone might be interested in him before he ends up in the freezer.
Registered. I can send pedigree details to anyone interested and also pictures.
I am not an expert so wouldn't know  a champion from a donkey but I can say he is very like his sire who was indeed a very good sheep and his dam was my personal favourite.
Friendly chap runs to my wife whenever she appears so easily handled.
Located Blairgowrie.
Thanks.

Try advertising him on sellmylivestock.com or preloved?

Other seller sites probably available - do shpock or Facebook Marketplace do livestock ??  (FB Marketplace not to be confused with Morrison's Marketplace of course - I'm very certain the latter does not do livestock in store !)

It is now against Facebook"s rules to advertise livestock.  If you do plan to try it, you have to have a business page where you make the post, and you can then share it from there.  Many groups now ban all such posts - and comments mentioning sales or other similar words - however, as they have had incidents of getting told off by FB PTB, or even of groups getting closed down.
