Title: Public Liability Insurance
Post by: Markus99 on May 22, 2021, 06:00:56 pm
Hi,

Our soon to be farmouse is fully insured and abbutting is 17.5 acres of land which has a deep pond and a high cliff/rock feature (we will NOT encourage any people to climb it/scale it even though they may trespass and do it quietly). Two footpaths cross the land.

We are "wilding it" only, just me and familty. No livestock, no employees. One tractor.

Can anyone advise the insurance needed and recommend a company?

Thanks

NFU. They'll tell you what is available and recommend what you need.

We have fourteen acres and buildings, and we were obviously too small for NFU, they wouldn't even give us a quote.

Oh, we got a quote from them.

I still haven't quite recovered from the shock! :-D

We only have two acres but were easily able to obtain PL insurance from NFU. They are not the cheapest but do give a good service.
